About This Activity
The Propelsync Challenge is an immersive, hands-on team building experience where participants move from constructing individual structures to engineering a working mechanism that creates motion.
Teams begin by crafting their own structures. Each build has a purpose, but no structure is truly complete on its own. Participants must focus on precision, alignment and quality while understanding how their work will eventually connect with the wider system.
As the challenge progresses, the focus shifts from construction to movement. Teams must use limited resources to convert their ideas into functional mechanisms that don't simply look complete, but actually perform.
Every decision matters. A small error in one component can affect the performance of the entire mechanism, making attention to detail, accountability and effective teamwork essential.
From Structure to Motion
The first stage challenges teams to build with purpose. Participants must understand their responsibilities, maintain quality standards and ensure that their structure is ready to connect with the larger system.
Once individual structures are complete, the challenge changes. Static becomes dynamic. Teams must collaborate across boundaries, identify gaps and engineer connections that allow the complete system to move.
